Theodore (Ted) G. Robinson

The East-West Course (18H), which has a membership system, and the North Course (9H), which is public, are completely separated with a national road in between, and the clubhouse is also built separately.

The course was designed by world-famous American golf course designer Theodore (Ted) G. Robinson, combining the legitimacy of a world golf course with a new concept of 21st century golf. He is also famous for designing the Ko Olina Golf Club on Oahu, Hawaii. All 27 holes of the course overlook the World Heritage Halla Mountain and the sea, and the moment you step on the field, you will be fascinated by the beauty of nature.

There are no large trees, and lava flows from the eruption of Mount Halla, as well as ponds and bunkers, form a clever hazard. The undulations on the fairways and greens are also tight, so it’s not as easy as it looks. This natural, links-style course demands shot accuracy and tests the golfer’s all-out strength.

The clubhouse was designed by Japanese architect Jun Itami. The building, which utilizes the traditional style of Jeju Island while also expressing the advancedness of modern art, is in perfect harmony with the surrounding nature. The adjacent Podo Hotel was also designed by him, and although it has 26 guest rooms, it is a space that pays close attention to detail. Each room is also equipped with a high-quality hot spring.

Features: Every course has a scenic view of Mt. Halla, the highest mountain in Korea, and the blue sea.In 2005, both the US Golf Digest and the UK Golf World magazines selected Korea as one of the top 100 golf courses in the world for the first time. It is also famous as the venue for the Japan-Korea Women’s Professional Golf Tournament.
